Can I convert red and white pin audio cables to a headphone jack connection?

are you talking about a cable like the one for the ipod its called rca to mini-plug or rca  to 3.5mm !

Being a DJ I asked this myself one time.  You can.  There are cables out there where you can hook up the red and white audio cables and they can be plugged into a mic jack if you want to stream it through your PC.

Go to Radio Shack and ask for a "Stereo Mini to RCA" adaptor. It's exactly what you need and I think they are 4 dollars.
