Can I create a bootable xp disk from hard drive only?

If you have pre-installed windows then yes

take a blanc floppy disc to someones computer that has win XP or windows 98 and do it on there computer, you cant create one without a operating system, and some dont create them at all. (as far as i know)

with xp you can make a complete set of recovery disc

of your entire system

for back up...

that includes the operating system..
