  1. no, you CANNOT curl your hair when wet.

you'll burn it and besides it wouldn't even come close to curling.

  2. It's never a good idea to use any appliance on your hair while it's wet. Blow-dry until AT LEAST barely damp, then use it. Not only will it potentially damage the curling iron, but it'll dry out and fry your hair even worse!

  3. well first off, to answer your question its not the best idea to curl your hair when wet. First of all it won't hold, Secondly it damages your hair (creates split ends) and Lastly it makes your hair smell funny and makes it feel really dry.

^^Not Good if you couldnt tell, hahah.

    Here are some tips though...

    1) Try not to use hairspray after your curl your hair. (If you absolutely have to use it sparingly and lightly). After youve curled all of your hair brush it and then take some defrizzing serum or gel, rub it in your hands and smooth it to your hair. The end product looks really natural and wavy like this...

    2) If you want super tight, defined curls take a small curling iron (1 inch is perfect), and wrap your hair around the iron without opening the clasp. (Its a little confusing but take a small 1 inch piece of your hair and wind it around your iron. think of it as taking string and wrapping it around your finger). Spray each individual curl with hair spray and when your all done curling your hair, take some hairspray and apply it to the roots of your hair so the top part of your hair has body and volume. this is what it should look like...

(if you hate hannah montana, as do i, try to look past it. she sucks but hey her hair looks amazing sometimes.)

well i hope some of these style and tips helped. good luck=)

  4. Nope, I really don't think you should do that because your curls will not turn out right since your hair will slightly be damp. So all you have to do is use a heat protectant and spray it on your damp hair, then blow dry your hair until its 90 to 95 percent dry. After that, spray more heat protectant on your hair and start curling.

  5. Not with a curling iron, the heat will scorch your hair and burn your scalp. The water in and on your hair would boil. That's where the damage comes from.

  12. Curling irons aren't meant to be used on wet hair.  Using on wet hair will severly damage it.
