Can I cut and transplant keikis? How long will it survive on its own?

  1. Yes - you can remove and pot keikis from orchids once they have their own root system.

    Wait until the combined total length of roots is about 4 inches, then detach and put in individual pot with compatible orchid seedling mix. Keep moist and in medium/low light until established.
