  1. Control panel- add or remove programs-look for adobe acrobat- remove program. A step by step guide.

  2. yes, go to start menu, then open control panel, click 'add or remove programs' . choose adobe acrobat and press button saying remove.

    good luck

  3. add/remove programs

  4. why? no keep it  cos u need it to browse newspapers online and pdf files

  5. If the program's name is adobe acrobat 7 and NOT adobe acrobat READER 7, you should keep it. Adobe acrobat 7 is commercially available software than can be used to create PDF files from various sources. It even allows you to edit PDF documents.

IF your program is actually adobe acrobat reader 7 you can and should delete it. It can be used to view PDF documents on websites, to view electronic documents that came with hardware installation material or online forms. It cannot edit the files, only view them. Version 7 of the reader is outdated - the latest version is version 9.

There are other programs that can be used to view pdf files, but few than can edit pdf files in the same manner as acrobat 7.

to get the latest version,  adobe acrobat reader 9 ( now called adobe reader 9) -

If you decide to delete the program, you can go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs....look in the window that comes up for the name of the program, select it and click the remove button on the right side. This will run an uninstaller program that will completely remove that software from your PC. Removal is this way is permanent.

  6. Start menu, control panel, add or remove programs, click on adobe acrobat, click on change/remove and it will remove it. Make sure you restart your pc afterwards to make sure you get rid of all the program files as sometimes the files stay on until the pc is switched off. I hope this helps.

  7. Depends on what exactly do you mean by DELETE adobe reader.

If you want to just delete the shortcuts: No problems.

If you want to delete the files: I'wouldn't do that.. Uninstallation is a longer, but much better metod in the long run. People above me have already told you how to uninstall it from control panel>add remove programes applet.

You can also use Revo Uninstaller, which would completely remove the registried & files that some uninstallers leave behind. & its free..

You can get it at www.revouninstaller.com

    Don't worry its a 5 star program at www.download.cnet.com

  8. It's not important anymore so remove it by all means the only software that might just get affected by it is adobe reader if it is using some of it's system files, usually it does because it doesn't get removed when you install adobe reader. But you can always re-install adobe reader if it does crash from their website for free. I got rid of it and see no effect from it getting removed.

    Hope this helps.

  9. Are you sure you want to get rid of it?  That is the program that allows you to read PDF files (many pages on the web are stored in PDF).

  10. yes start/settings/control panel/add and remove you can upgrade for free to version 8.1 which you are best doing as ver7 conflicts with qiet alot of stuff
