Can I delete movies I don't want on my Ipod and keep others I want?

Ok so here's the situation...

I'm thinking of buying an ipod off of craigs list and this ipod comes with about 25 movies on it. He says the movies won't delete when I sync it to my itunes. I'm not sure about this... Also, there are some movies that I would delete just so I can have more space for music. Can I delete some movies and keep others?

One more question... Could I put all the movies on the iTunes and use all the iPod for music if I so choosed to do so? Then put the movies back on later if I wanted?

Sorry there are so many questions, I just want to make sure I'm making a smart move.

you can backup to your computer:

drag and drop the videos you want to ipod , it won't delete the prevoius recourse

Im not sure if you can delete the movies, but 25 movies is almost all your space, so I would just suggest getting a brand new ipod(even refurbished if you dont want it so expensive)
