Can I do anything about a dried syrup from a Pepsi bottle that stained my shirt in Tesco?

I held the bottle to my chest and there was dried syrup stuck to the bottom of the bottle

Wash it,

Maybe try using some vanish or other stain removers that you put on for a few minutes before you wash items.

I assume this happened in Tesco itself. If so you might be able to claim, but it would have been better to explain the situation immediately in the store and show then the bottle and the damage to your shirt. They may say that the sryup came from somewhere else.

I suggest that you go back and explain what happened. Take the shirt and the bottle back and explain what happened and see what they say. In theory you could claim from them, but because of the costs its probably not worth it.
