Can I do anything to prepare for highschool chemistry?

Is there anyhing I can do just to get a head of the gang before school starts? (for chemistry)

  1. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.

    If you really want to, you can try to get an old text book and look at stuff (possibly check your local library - or a university library near you if you have one).  The main things you'll be studying in high school chemistry is pretty basic stuff (ideal gas law, avigadro's number, stoichiometry, atom interaction, etc.).  So, the stuff really isn't too bad; I aced my hs chem class and didn't have to study all that much.

    Just don't stress out about it and trust your teachers.  Study what they teach you and you'll do fine.


  2. I would tell you don't worry about it, but I've learned from experience that this advice kills. If I were you I'd take a look at AP Chemistry course review books available in libraries (public). I am now going to a great university, and thus tell you don't lag it. I hated chemistry and math, but know cannot live without them, so look int AP classes, and for chemistry look at AP Chemistry review books.
