Can I do something on my phone to prevent people from get a hold of me?

Yes You can I am looking for peopl ejust like you to answer my question and it is important to me there will be a product on the self very soon this year you be able to by called the GateKeeper that works. Just do what I do and dont answer the landline. Use your cell as your main phone.

If you call the phone company they may be able to block certain numbers.

If you only want to not talk to people during certain times just screen the calls. Get caller ID on your home phone and only answer calls of people you want to talk to. Or turn the ringer off and don't answer at all.

If someone is harassing or bothering you, file a police report and get a restraining order so the person can't contact you.
