  1. You can download a "trial" version from Microsoft (or fetch a "trial" version CD). You'll get 45 free uses. Within that number of uses, you'll have to register for payment. If you don't, the software will disable itself. Then, tough luck.

    Get OpenOffice. Free. Better.

  2. If you are from the United States, you could always go to this site that gives away free stuff. The only downside is you have to complete offers. But you can complete the free credit report offer (100% free), then get 1 or 2 friends to do the same offer (100% free) and then you get whatever software you want for free. This can be microsoft office. And you dont have to pay anything.

I normally dont like these sites, but this one lets you pick out anything from the internet, and it will buy and ship it to you. The site is http://referrals.santasgiftsallyear.com

Anyway, if you dont mind spending a few extra minutes completing an offer, you can get microsoft office for free.

    Good luck

  3. No. MSOffice and Excel is NOT free. If you want free office products, try OpenOffice. It is free and has a spread sheet much like Excel, and easy to use.
