Can I download the Vista start-up programne for Virgin Media off the internet?

I want to use my laptop (Vista) by hooking up to my desktop (Windows XP). I find it impossible to get through to anybody at Virgin.

Vista start-up programme for Virgin Media? What is it that you actually want? Do you want to install Vista on your laptop, do you want the Virgin Media home page, or what? I'll take a wild guess and say that you want to set up a wireless network between two computers, is that right?
