I was fired from my primary job in Feb 2008 but I was in school and had a part time business before being fired. Can I draw unemployment from my full- time job?

  1. Doubtful. Usually don't get unemployment when fired; and it sounds like the part time didn't pay any U/e insurance.

Apply; you have nothing to lose

  2. How long did you work at your "primary" job?

  3. If you got fired in February and haven't even applied for unemployment, you're not going to get benefits waiting this long.

They hate it when you simply forget to file each week, let alone not doing it for 6 months.

You should have filed immediately when you were fired.  I had unemployment during 1 year in college.  It was nice not to need to work.
