  1. If you are dribbling and either jump stop with BOTH feet landing at the SAME TIME or pick up the ball with both feet planted, pump/pass fake without picking up either foot, then technically that is NOT traveling (you could pick up a foot on the fake but you would have to use that same foot to take the first step). But it all depends on the ref himself. Some see it and will call it....that would look awkward but it isn't traveling...as long as when you fake, you do not pick up a foot then use your other foot to take your first step.

  2. Do you mean as in dribble, pump fake, then take 1.5 steps?

No that would be traveling, once you stop your dribble you can leap off your pivot foot to lay the ball in. But taking a full step and lifting your pivot foot is a travel.

  3. yes

  4. That would be traveling, my friend.

However you can dribble, fake then reach you're non-pivot foot out, and jump and shoot in the air. That would not be traveling.

  5. ya gotta get better skills ......there's about 500 hundred different fakes you can make.....seriously....but this is what you need to do....to stop playing like a robot....when dribbling keep that motion as far as your movement...last dribble start to take your steps before or during the first fake that floater or a pass or a look the take the other step and finish.....your talking about the game like your playing in the early 70's   lol    NO!!!!!!

  6. How is that traveling?... I've done it in officiated games, never got called for it. I dribble, pump fake then take 2 steps...
