  1. You could, but you would have to start back about an hour or two  after you got there  --- you would not be able to do justice to to Venice in my opinion.

Better of if you left much earlier in the morning, but you are still better of staying overnight in Venice.  Not to mention driving would be a great big hassle, and gas costs $8 a gallon.

  2. florence ,south carolina to venice, california is a long drive

  3. Believe me...take the train, you cant get a car into Venice anyway. Take the Eurostar train.

  4. Hello. I live in Treviso, it's near Venice. My opinion is it's hard to do that, because your trip from Florence to Venice is about 4 hours. So, you'll be arriving at about 5pm. It's quite a tiring trip because u must walk in Venice. I say u must prenotate a hotel. =]

  5. you can't... you have to leave in the morning and take the train because is easier to reach venice... but is difficult too in one day. I suggest you to stay one night in venice or mestre. How would you visit the best city in the world in few hours?? is impossible.....

  6. Hi! I'm italian. Yes you can but in my opinion it's not a good idea. Without traffic, you'll be in venice in 4 hour and there will be many things to see.... For me will be better stay one night in Venice... you could be find some Hotel near Vemice in a town that's called Mestre.

    Sorry for my English:)

  7. Hi!I'm from Milan, Italy.

I think not...;o) Florence To Venice are about 4 hours of driving...(without traffic). Venice has many things to see!Is a very strange city. All built on water. There aren't cars.

I suggest you to reserve a room for almost a night.

    Anyway have a nice holiday!
