Hello

I'm a guy and I have an American driver's license.

Can I use it to drive in Saudi Arabia?

Anyone knows the answer to my question?

PS. I'm not Saudi.

  1. Yes you can but if you get in an accident and someone hits you. You're not covered for damages unless you fill in all the legal work for you to legally drive there before you get behind the wheel.

  2. many countries require the international driver's license.  If you already have a USA driver's license then just go to AAA and get it "converted".

That's because we have 50 different driver's license format from 50 different states.  No cops in other countries cannot keep up with all the formats.  So it would be too easy to fake on.  That is why they insist on international driver's license.

    good luck...
