Can I drive my friend's car with a breathalyzer?

Here's the situation: My friend lost his license due to a DUI and was required to have a breathalyzer/ignition interlock device installed in his car. Now he doesn't have a license anymore, but I would like to know if I can still drive HIS car, since I have a license. Of course it would show on his probation record that someone drove HIS car, but couldn't he say it was a friend? I'm gonna have to blow, of course.

What does the law say? Is his car now exclusively for his own use because of the breathalyzer?

Yes, you can drive it legally.  I am 100% sure on this..but I live in Canada..rules might be different where you are.

I would think that if you haven't been drinking, and the insurance is paid, and your licensed, it shouldn't be a problem...the problem is with him... not his car...

Consult with his probation officer - you don't want to cause any problems for him

and if you are drinking, ground the black 8 gauge wire and connect the two white 8 gauge wires together and go

just t b sure get a written agreement saying that hes allowing u to drive his car. that way he cant pull no bs that u stole it and theres no reason for u to get in trouble
