Can I drive out of state with a Maryland drivers permit?

I keep searching online and in my book... but i can't find a straight foward answer.... And if you could... could you please tell or show me where you got the answer?

Depends on the laws of the other state.  Maryland has no control over it.  Some states honor out-of-state permits, others don't.  Some have additional restrictions on passengers or hours as well.
