Can I duplicate this key?

i traced a key on a piece of paper, and can i give that to a locksmith to recreate the key?

I don't know if you CAN.  But I think a locksmith will be suspicious about why you want a copy of a key that you don't actually have, but you traced it.  They would probably want to know where you got the key to trace....  Honestly, I wouldn't.

no , the locksmith is goinrg to want the key or he can come out and make a key off the current lock, paper is to thin , for the way machines cut the kes, plus they will be very suspicious of a drawing of the key, the accoracy for making a key from this would be less than 10%/
