  1. It really depends on how dark your hair is, and everyones hair dyes differently. But I do my own hair and I have almost black hair...my blonde turns out nice. I have to keep the bleach on a little longer than normal though, and I have to use heat where some people can get away with just letting it sit in room temp air. But I dont think you will have a problem just make sure you buy a toner, which usually has a blue in it, just ask the lady at Sallys, she will be able to help you with finding the right bleach and toner! I hope this helps!!

  2. you have to go lighter gradually like one shade lighter at a time every month, but because youll have to do it this frequently in order to obtain your desired coulor, make sure to condition your hair daily x

  3. HEY I LOVE SALLYS,,SO U GO THER N ASK THE LADY,,THATS WHAT I DID N SHE SET ME UP WITH THIS BIG BOTTLE OF HAIR STULL..U JUST HAVE TO GO THERE N THE  STUFF LAST ME AT LEAST 6MONTHS,,I HAD ABURN BROWN HAIR N WENT BLOND I LOVE IT,,JUST GO TALK TO THEM,,,SHE WILL FIX U UP..AND I FU TELL HE RYOU ARE GOING TO B DOING OTHER PEOPLES HAIR SHE WILL SET YOU UP WITH A 20%DISCOUNT CARD THAT U CAN USE  RIGHT THEN,,N HEY U WONT B LIEING,,CAUSE WHAT IF ONE O F YOUR FRIENDS NEED A HAIR DYE U WILL B PREPARED...PEACE

  4. You need a toner.

Bleach it with Clairol BW2 and a volume 20(it lightens slower than 30 or 40, but wont do as much damage) develover.

Then use a toner to take out yellow and orange tones.

After that you will need a deep conditioning treatment.

  5. It is possible to get it just right at home. The people that work at sally's know their stuff, and should be willing to help. If you don't get it right the first time, then try something else.

Best advice: Ask the people who work at sally's to help you figure out what you need.

  6. Well...the actual truth would be NO..it's not usually possible to get it just right at home...i've done it quite a few times. I've been going between brown to blonde at least 10 times. The box colors will pull oranges because they are never customized exactly to your hair and the condition of your hair. Hair dressers take all that into consideration. I know just dyed my hair darker so that it's a bit less maintnance...just think of a an easier solution that's also healthy for your hair. Or just a find a cheaper hair dresser...but trust me...box color won't be worht it. At the end you will spend more money tryint to fix what you did yourself.
