Question:

Can I e-mail my portfolio from one yahoo account to another? And with this Beta yahoo, can I sort portfolios?

I have two separate Yahoo accounts. I would like to e-mail all of my portfolios from one account to another. I've already tried the e-mail option, but Yahoo only e-mails the module, not the actual information within the module (i.e. when I e-mail the stock portfolio module, I don't receive the actual stocks within the module, just an "example portfolio"). Is this possible, and how do I do it?

Also, with the old Yahoo, I was able to sort my different portfolios. It doesn't look like it's possible to do that with this new Yahoo. When I click the My Portfolio drop down menu in Yahoo finance, the options given are "new portfolio" and "markettracker". There doesn't seem to be any option to sort. Is there a way to sort my different portfolios?

  1. As far as the sending the portfolio from account to account, there is currently not a mechanism in place for this type of operation (I too tried the send module).  Sorry.

As far as the sorting portfolios goes, there is no way currently to re-order your portfolios.  They appear in the order that they are created.  (My portfolios were simply watch-lists, so they were easy enough to re-create in the order I wanted to see them).  Sorry again.

Not really answers / solutions, but hopefully useful info.
