Can I eliminate a 1-2sec delay between a TV w/ and w/out a DVR?

I have a TV with a DVR box and a second nearby TV without, both use a cable signal. The TV without the DVR box has a 1-2sec signal delay compared to the DVR-TV. Is there a simple way to eliminate this annoying delay when both sets are on at the same time?

It can't be eliminated. Everything youwatch through your DVR box is copied to the hard drive before it's sent to the TV. That's what the delay is about.
