Can I enter Australia with a valid visa in expired passport??

I have a valid visa in expired passport and I'm going to issue a new passport so can I enter Australia with the new passport and the valid visa which is in the old passport???

If you are not a US citizen, you will need a new visa-/ re-entry permit to enter US again.

The United States will allow this.  You take your new passport and the old one with the valid visa and present them to the immigration officer at the same time.  Contact the Australian embassy or an Australian consulate in your country so see if it will work the same way there.

Yes. Just carry both passports with you when passing through immigration, and let the officer know.
