Can I find a job as a writer/columnist without a degree?

Question

I would like to work as a writer... writing anything, BUT I do not have a degree yet, I am currently working to make money for this. Does anyone know of a place that would hire me to write. I'm in US, NJ.

you may have a really hard time getting hired without a degree without proven stories or a degree.. you might be able to become a freelance writer and just get paid per story you write... almost any newspaper will pay you in this style....
