Can I find out a person's name or at least country they live in with a yahoo address?

I got a really crazy email and I want to check it out a little bit. The only information I have is what's contained in the email and his yahoo address. Can I do a seach and find out any more info about this guy??

You can look him/her up in the Yahoo Membership directory, but only if (s)he didn't set it to private, and only if (s)he entered something into it.  Even so, there's no way to tell if anything there is true, either.

Bottom line: the answer is no.
