Can I find someone through a passport number on the web?

Question

I'm kinda looking for my birth mother and I have her passport number on one of the adoption forms. She's from Slutsk, Belarus Russia.

and I have an address of course though I don't know how recent they are or anything. But... I'm figuring the passport numbers a good shot.

Anyone have a clue?

Just my opinion:

Try to google the passport number. I doubt you will come up with anything. If I were you, I would contact the Belarus passport issuing agency and ask them for help. However, I think your best bet is to try the address. Good luck!
