There are several of us going on a trip and one friend has always been spelling her name Catherine. However, she has now told us her passport says Catherin as she added the "e" herself but it is not how she is registered.

Will she be able to fly if her ticket says Catherine but her passport Catherin?? This is Ryanair between Stockholm and Paris

  1. check with your airport and airline. you can get the mistake fixed but it does cost you. it should be OK but i would double check in-case the customs officials are harsh. but it shouldn't be a problem but checking should take some stress off her.

  2. She will probably be OK.  This is a common error.  If she was ticketed as jane but her passport said Catherin there would be a problem.

  3. thats what happened to me by accident my travel agent spelled my name AJLA and i still passed when my real name is aila

  4. Yes, that should be fine. I was Mr Hana ****** when flying to Budapest, and I'm Miss Hannah *******!

    I shouldn't worry.

  5. Yes.
