Can I format an Xd memory card for my Fuji A205 from the web? My camera won't do it! If so - how?

Both my 64MB card and my 256MB card will not initialize.

I'm stuck using the 16MB card that came with the A205.

  1. Wow, that camera was released about 5 years ago (1.9MP).

    Your solution is to update. New camera, new memory card...


  2. you should be able to use your PC to format the card. Slot it into a card reader and when the PC finds the card format it like any other drive.

    If you still get the message that the Card is not initialised, then the Card is probably corrupted and it would be advisable to get another Card, because once it fails the possibility of failing again are very high and it would not be worth loosing data for that.
