I go on these great interviews, then never hear anything. I left on kinda bad terms with my last boss... Is there any way to find out what they're saying about me?

  1. Have a friend call the office saying they are just calling for a reference.

Have them say "Just between us, what can you tell me about this girl?"

Make sure you do research before you attempt this.  Make sure the company name and manager's name are real.

Also, try to have this done on a recording.

  2. Why are you listing them in your resume. If you are really that concerned about it have someone who sounds professional call them and pretend to be an employer who is looking to hire you.

  3. if people around you say he is go up to him and put your fist up and say.

are u sayin **** about me.

  4. i dunno thats a great question gotta remember to check back

  5. get a friend to call them for a reference check

  6. dont put them down on your application if you think they are talking bad about you.

  7. They are only allowed to state your employment start and stop dates and your salary.

Keep interviewing. It will come eventually.

  8. Get a friend to call and do a fake "employment reference check" on you.

All the employer can (legally) say is that you worked for them on certain dates and your salary (with your permission) in most states.
