I want to make a lot of cake mix cookies but I don't want to make it all in one day. I was wondering if it would be okay to make them in advance and freeze the cookie dough...then bake it later.

  1. Why not!! But I think it's also a good idea to bake the cookies and freeze them in an air-tight container.

  2. OF COURSE YOU CAN! :)

Just make individual dough mix balls and put them on wax paper on a small enough sheet pan and put in the freezer for one hour. By then the balls will be individually frozen and you can put them in a freezer bag, making sure that most of the air is removed in the sealing process, and store them for later use. They then can be pulled out as desired and should store for months to come.

  3. I should think so!

  4. I think it is okay.Just make sure you don't freeze them too long or they will get a permanent water taste and also make sure you defrost the dough before working with it.
