  1. ha ha... no you cant!!!....

try it and you'll see ...

    its an unusable mess....

    the texture gets destroyed

    and the taste?...

    well its bad...

    just use fresh produce.

I hope your using a good lettuce and not iceburg

    for your smoothies....

    have a great day!....

  2. If you're just using it for making smoothies, yeah, I don't see why not.  But don't plan on using the lettuce for anything else.  Lettuce has such a high water content and is so fragile that the ice crystals that form will crush the leaves.

  3. Never tried it.  I am guessing it would be okay if you are using it for smoothies.

  4. i think its ok to freeze lettuce since you are going to make it as a smoothie. besides, they don't really have a high water content.

    i am sure its fine.

  5. you can freeze it with no problems, chop the leaves up a little bit so they will use less space.

but suppose it is understood that you never will be able to male a salad out of them once you defrost it.
