  1. I freeze peppers all the time.  I was them and chop them and then put them in a Ziploc to freeze.

  2. I usually just chop them up and put in container in the freezer.  try to do packages about the size I use for most things I cook.

  3. No they would go soggy when defrosted, there supposed to be crispy.

  4. You can freeze them just the way they are, but when you take them out of the freezer they will turn mushy when they thaw.  Blanching won't make a difference.  My wife does this and I hate to eat them.

  5. Keeping in mind that when they are thawed they won't have the same texture, you can freeze them.  I keep one in the freezer all the time to add to whatever I am cooking.

  6. Freezing vegetables causes ice crystals to form and cut through the cell walls. When thawed the cells collapse and release liquid making the vegetables mushy and they tend to have less flavor.

  7. They can be seeded, cut up and frozen as is in plastic containers or bags. Just don't thaw them when ready to use , add to the recipe, frozen...or I have frozen roasted peppers, also.

  8. no
