You can buy any legal name that isn't already taken, but if you plan to buy a trademarked name in order to try to force the trademark owner to fork over a lot of cash to get it away from you, it likely won't hold up in court; the trademark usually takes precedence.  And I can guarantee you, any company which has enough money for you to want a piece of their pie, will also have much better lawyers than you do.
