I have a Sanitary Inspector's Diploma also with .15 yrs experience

  1. You mightn't get a job that reflects your experience I'm afraid.. There is a growing shift towards privatization within the Cdn healthcare industry - specifically in the areas of housekeeping, sanitation, etc.. apparently the shift from union to private means savings for the hospitals, but less money for the workers.

    that being said, the aging "baby boomer" population will necessitate a LOT more health care workers

    you should enquire at your nearest Cdn consulate / visa office

  2. here is some very good advice and some very good links to get you started. I am assuming that you are not a Canadian citizen, in which case you will need to find a company in Canada that will sponsor you, but how do i do that? or even apply for a work permit but where do you go to get one. first of all i have talked with numerous professionals from all types of backgrounds lawyers, doctors, engineers, it, dentists, the big problem is that we do not recoginze creditials (diploma's degrees certificates from outside of north america) but there are ways around it. this link here will allow you to obtain all the information that you are seeking as well potential employers good luck.
