I didn't go to the website you have on but yes you can but not federal jobs meant for citizens or with other restrictions. I think you can have a job that is linked to ur academic reasons and aspirations. thats usually the way around...like if ur getting credit for the job or if it was arranged by a school official or stuff like that.

Student visas are designed to allow holders to study in the US, not make money.  There are severe restrictions on when, where, and how often a student may work.  Check with your Designated School Official (DSO) before you apply for a position.  If you violate your student status, you are subject to immediate arrest, detention, and removal.

No I went to an immigration lawyer and he said that people on a student visa cant get a job in the usa. In most other countries you can at least work part time while on a student visa.
