Can I get a SIM card with prepaid plan from any service provider in the USA?

Question

I travel in and out of the country quite frequently, and station outside the US quite a bit. I would like to get a phone plan that fits my needs best.

1) I already have a phone that takes a SIM card. It'd be nice to be able to switch SIM card when I land at each destination.

2) A prepaid plan that doesn't have expiration limit. Sometimes I'm gone for months before I get back in the country. I don't want the leftover money in my account expired or my number terminated.

you can buy a simcard on any AT&T store or T-mobile store for about $20

however is better if you go to bestbuy and buy an AT&T go phone for $15 activated following the voice instructions ( very easy) and take out the SIM card and put it on your current phone

you get your SIM card  + and extra emergency phone :)

for less that what you pay buying a simcard alone

I don't really know about ALL of you requirements but T-mobile has a pre-paid with a SIM card. Ask about the 5 faves program.

yes you can get a prepaid simcard from those companies that use simcard like At&t, T-mobile;boostmobile and others if you have At&t or T-mobile you can call them and cancel you acount and tell them that you wanna use that simcard for prepaid plan.
