Can I get a Secret Security Clearance with waivers??

Question

Im re-enlisting in the US Army.and the Mos i would like to enlist under(25C) requires a secret security clearance.however in order to re- enlist i need two waivers an RE code waiver(chapter 11ELS RE code:3),and a suitability waiver (5 misdaminors).I wanted to know is there even a chance at me obtaining a secret security clearance? and if there is how would i go about doing it ?

Check with your S-2.  They be able to clear up all your questions and do all the necessary paperwork.

I had a Top Secret for 18 years with 3 waivers, but they weren't too serious. Age, traffic violations (yes, they do that) and marijuana use.  If your're military record is clean enough to re-up, you're probably OK. I assume all the trouble was after you got out. The Chapter 11 could be trouble, but if you've cleaned up your act, should be OK.
