Can I get a better deal on hotels at Disneyland Paris if I book late?

I have booked the Best Western at Marne la Vallee but the reviews seem to be mixed. I can cancel without penalty up to the day before arrival. Can I get a good deal if I try to book a day or two before arrival at another hotel?

  1. You wont get a disneyland paris hotel cheaper if you book late as they fill up quickly and they have semi fixed prices depending on the season.  However I recommend you book a disney hotel directly from www.disneylandparis.co.uk, the cheapes is the Santa Fe which is perfect as a base and a place to lay your head.  I recommend a disney hotel rather than the other hotels in the area because:   they include a buffet breakfast in the cost, charge per room not per person, and the park tickets are included in the price of the hotel.

We stayed at the santa fe disney hotel in October, it cost us £520 for 5 nights, 2 adults and 2 kids - that included breakfast, bus transfers to the parks and park tickets for 6 days!  The park tickets alone would have cost us:  ÃƒÂ‚£400 for a family of 4, so you could say the hotel cost £120.

This October we have upgraded to the Sequoia disney hotel, cost £720 but including tickets.  so same rule applies £320 for the hotel.

My neighbours tried to leave booking a hotel to the last minute, they ended up without a hotel the first night at disneyland and ended up sleeping in their car!

Hope you have a nice trip.

  2. You could try, and also at Priceline, which might have last minute deals, but if you're traveling there with kids, I wouldn't risk it.  Esp., if you're coming from the US or anywhere far away.  Why risk going all the way there and not have a place to stay?  The cards are stacked against you, but if you're a betting person...!

  3. I know that Disneyland Paris is celebrating an anniversary this year that they're heavily advertising.  On the one hand, this will probably mean it will have a lot of visitors this year, so I wouldn't chance waiting until the last minute to book anything.  On the other hand, they have some great deals going on that you should take advantage of and research.  We stayed at the Davy Crocket 'cabins' (which were really glorified plastic-wood trailers), and my children enjoyed it very much.  It's close by and we got a good deal on a 3 day package.

  4. You can , but it depends on the season and demand. July / August are peak season as is Easter.

This site has plenty of lastminute deals:

    Paris Disneyland : http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk/Franc...

You will find 10 hotels here that provide last minute discounts including the Holiday Inn Disneyland  [ which isn't the cheapest - but is fairly good ] :
