  1. yes go to the court house in the county she died in

  2. Contact the Vital Records Office of the town. They will usually charge around $5.00 and ask for a written request (letter) which includes a photo ID.  The details should be on the town's website.

  3. Try

    www.familyrecords.gov.uk/topics/birthc...

  4. I thnk you should be able to get a copy of it. Try the local records office. my local one is in the main council building

  5. Yes, you will need to look for the specific rules for the state in which she was born. These are now on-line. Generally, they will want proof that she is your mother and, perhaps, proof that she is deceased.

  6. go to www.gro.gov.uk (might not be .uk) and all the details are up there x

  7. im sorry to hear that

but yes im sure you can

  8. Yes you can.  My sister passed away and I had to show a copy of her birth certificate along with mine to prove I was her sister in order to receive the funds from her bank account (she had no will).

Do a search on google for vital records for your state.  Your state's vital records department should have an online application/form you will need to fill out (you will need to know your mother's maiden name, date of birth, place of birth, etc.) and send it in along with their required fee.  I paid $10 since my sister had passed away.  I also had to show vital records her death certificate so they could change the records to show deceased.

  9. UK answer.

You can do  a search on www.ancestry.co.uk  and find her index details, such as the GRO number if you are ordering on -line, or the register office area where her birth was registered.

The price of a full certificate is £7:00 ordered on line from the GRO   http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/  or  Ã‚£8:50 for a phone order, from a register office its £7:00 for the full certificate and £5:50 ? for the short certificate.

    Hope this helps.

  10. In the U.S., each state has its own laws about who, when, where and the cost of obtaining birth certificates on another.  Best thing to do is to contact your county clerk.  If anything, he/she probably can point you in the right direction.

  11. dont u mean death certificate? if not y u want a birth certificate

  12. You would need to go to the County records department where she was born (or write to them). It usually costs a couple dollars to get a certified copy.  I'm sure you have to send them some kind of proof that you are her daughter.  I'm not sure I understand why you'd need your mother's birth certificate to get your passport though.  You need yours!  In any case your birth certificate needs to be a certified copy to get a passport and I'm assuming that if you need your mother's birth certificate to get your passport that you will also need to get a certified copy of it, because the passport agency doesn't accept COPIES of it, only CERTIFIED COPIES

  13. you go to the registery office  this place deals with births, deaths, and marriages

  14. Yes if you go to the registra office in the area your mum was born you will get one there its about £7.50

  15. yes u can (i have had to do the same). Contact the registrar. Most of them do an online service too. You just have to provide a few details and its only about £7.
