  1. No, it'll have no effect. I have two credit cards. One where I receive cash back on purchases, that I pay off every time I use it, and another I have never used since my bank sent it to me in the post, and I have a strong credit rating. Good to see someone with sense.

  2. Yes, you can.  However, the credit card won't be too happy 'cause they are not making any money from you.  Keep in mind that they will not increase your limit as time goes by.

  3. If you have a credit card and not use it, it will affect you credit rating for the better, however good luck with that.

The problem I find with credit cards is that they are TOO easy to use!

  4. it wont affect u at all

  5. Clearly not using the card is good for you but not good for the card company!   My experience of such a situation is that people who are issued with a card but fail to use it, say, in the first two years ... the company may probably withdraw the facility as it not in their interests to maintain the service.  Better to use it now and again for small commitments and simply pay them in full.

  6. Yes you can but you may have a monthly charge for it

  7. in the US you can have as many as u like and ur not forced to use them

but the more credit cards you have the worse your credit score will be, even if you dont use them
