Can I get a crossbow good enough to get deer for under $100, if not between 300 and 400?

I'm hoping to go do some crossbow deer hunting this year or next, unfortuneatly I'm missing a key ingerdient, a crossbow.

You are going to have to give at least 2 to 3 hundred for a crossbow to hunt with that will kill a deer. And that will buy a used one.But don't give up. Keep looking until you find one in your price range- there is nothing more fun then bow hunting deer. You're going to love it!

Cheapest good quality one I've seen is Horton 150 Summit.

You can get good ones for about $150 at Cabela's too, I'd just suggest that one.

Note: I've never used a crossbow, but I like the way a Horton is built.

I agree with the other two guys on the Horton summit 150. But you can get the Summit 150 package with sights, quiver and bolts for $200 brand new on Ebay. Just do a seach, and they will pop up. If you're uneasy about Ebay sellers, do a advanced search on a seller and serch for jonsportshop. They are a local sporting goods retailer here in town and are very reliable.

Try and go to a flea-market. either that, or go on ebay, or just look around..  Yard sales are good too

Yes in cabelas have a very cheap cross bow that works really well the Horton Summit HD 150 Red Dot Crossbow Package is $299.99

the Tacoma Trac 150 Crossbow Package by Horton is about $200 and it is great cross bow for hunting

And if u are under 18 this cross bow is a great beginners bow and it is only $100

this are around your price range and i have shot most of them and know u are getting your money work.

spend a little more then a hundred dollars if u want quality.
