Can I get a free car rental if auto accident was somebody elses fault?

My car was hit & the other driver admitted guilt, but can i get a free car rental at her insurances expense for the time that my car is being repaired?

i dont have any rental agreements with my insurance companies so is there a mandatory law that her insurance will have to pay my car rental bill?

Her insurance company should provide a rental car during a reasonable repair period.

They do not rent you  a bigger car than you have.

They will pay the daily rate and tax. They will not pay for any additional insurance that you chose to take out or that the rental company may require.

The adjuster handling the claim should be able to explain it all to you.

It doesn't pay the whole bill, no matter what.  Generally, they'll pay $25 a day, which is super tiny rental car, for the number of days it takes to fix the car.  

If you're under 21, no one will rent to you.  If you're under 25, YOU have to pay the surcharge, from the rental company, for being under 25.

Actually you will have to pay up front...but the other guys insurance will pay most of the rental fees later. Just make sure you don't rent an expensive car...otherwise you will be paying all the extra cost.

Contact the insurance company of the at fault driver, and tell them you are in need of a rental car while yours is being fixed.  They will tell you whether or not they will cover it.
