Can I get a grant from the government just for having a government job like at a library?

Contrary to popular belief, you cannot get a grant from the government just for having a government job, such as working at a library.  You can, however, apply for a grant, and if you meet the requirements and are a good writer, then, you might just get the grant.  Either way, good luck!
