Can I get a home on landcontract with judgment aginst me?

I have a repo vehical judgment aginst me can I still get a home on land contract? the judgment is 8 years old .or will the judgment keep me from ever owning a home?

You can,  Once the property is transferred in to your name, that judgement can become attached to the title.  If you ever sell it, you will have to pay off the judgement first.  Who ever you are buying it from may look at your credit and or civil judgment history and see that you have the judgement.  They may not want to take the chance.

Yes, you may be able to buy on a land contract, but before the land contract expires, and before the closing when you get title, you will need to satisfy the judgment.  Also, interest will be accumulating on the judgment.
