What if I put my left over money into a cashier's check or a secured (gift) Visa/Master card?

  1. Yes, but your retirement plans, IRA's 401ks etc are generally exempt from judgements.

  2. As long as there's a judgment against you, you'll end up paying, no matter where you try to hide your money.  You  might as well pay up front, and save yourself the interest, because if you don't, they can garnish your wages until they get what they're owed.
