Can I get a patent for my time machine?

Its only capable of 8-10 hour jumps into the future right now , but I am still working on it .

It consists of a mattress , covers and sometimes sleeping pills . : D

  1. Dude i know how to lengthen your time machine capabilities add some vodka with the sleeping pills you might be able to get a day into the future if your lucky


  2. Sorry but a few problems:

    (a) you have disclosed it which prejudices your chances of getting a patent

    (b) it has to have novelty, I think in its present form it has been around for a few years.

    How about you wind the machine back before these devices were invented, invent it , zap forward to when patents were first issued, get it approved, then you can come back to the present.

  7. Have you considered the problems of patenting a time machine? Person A patents one. Person B buys one and goes back into the past to patent it first. This means that the A machine was never patented and would not have been sold to B who could not have gone back to patent it before A did, which means ....

    This is giving me a headache. I think I'll use your machine.
