Can I get a permanent visa for a friend...?

I have a really good friend that lives in India and they want to come to the United States...Can I apply for them to come here, does anyone know what I would have to do, how much it would cost and is it a lengthly process?

  1. You cannot get any kind of visa for a friend.  You are not qualified to sponsor a friend's immigration or any other kind of visa, not even a tourist visa.  Only a US citizen who is an immediate blood relative (parent, child, sibling) can sponsor someone.  And only an employer can apply for an employee's temporary employment visa if they meet certain additional requirements.


  2. You cannot help that person get a permanent visa under any circumstance unless your friend is your spouse, your child, your parent (father or mother) or your sibling.

  3. at least 1000 for plane 100000 for accomidation (dollars)
