Can I get a visa to Chile at El Calafate (Argentina side of Patagonia)?

I have also read that For Australians - No visa is required by Australians for visits of up to 90 days, but a US$56 reciprocity fee, payable in USD cash on arrival, will be charged for tourists. Is this correct?

  2. I recommend that you do consult the Embassy of Chile in Argetina. They are the ones who will be more  up - to - date

    as visas are concerned.
