Can I get an Indian Visa in India or will I be denied entry into the country?

Just wondering, I heard from someone that it is possible to get an entry visa at the airport. I am aware that I can apply for one but I am also curious about this. Thank you.

  2. Its not possible to get entry visa at the airport. You need to apply to the consulate/embassy.

  3. There is no provision of Visa on arrival in India and foreign tourists should obtain their visa before travelto India.
