Can I get an upgrade?

I have had a sidekick 2 for a little over two years, It's on a prepaid plan.

The thing is I didn't buy the sidekick from a t-mobile store. I got it from a phone store in Brooklyn, and I wanted to know if I could get a upgrade to another sidekick.

You can, you just will pay retail for the phone, and then just swap your Sim card.
