Can I get another purity ring?

I just started wearing a purity ring and here is the deal. I am using just a normal ring and I want to get one made as a purity ring. Is that okay to do? Do have to stick with one? I am going to buy one in 3 more days. I also want to know how do I tell my parents about this. I also want to know do I have to say something special when I put in on?

I'm pretty sure god won't mind. I think with a purity ring it's more about the symbolic act you're doing. If you feel compelled you can say a little prayer before you put it on. As for telling your parents, just tell them what you feel and hopefully they will be receptive. Good Luck

Hey, I also have a purity ring, and I'm wanting another one because mine is getting really worn out. I got mine from my sisters room Lol I just found it in there one day and she said I could have it, and my parents asked what it was and I was like it's a purity ring, because it says purity on it. So my point is it's not about what you do with it and stuff it's all about just following your belief in what it really means and then you will be fine.

1) Of course.  Any ring could be a purity ring.  The ring doesn't matter; it's the symbolism behind the ring that counts.  You could wrap a string around your finger and if that means it's significant to you then that's all that matters.

2) I don't see why kids are afraid to tell their parents about these purity rings.  I hear that fear a lot from kids.  Can you explain why?  Anyway, I'd suggest just telling them, "Hey mom, dad, I decided to get a purity ring.  It means a lot to me and I just wanted to let you guys know."  It doesn't have to be a fancy speech or anything.  

3) You could say something if you want.  There aren't any requirements and not saying something doesn't mean the purity ring means anything "less" to you.
